Patriotic or pathetic?

I am so pathetic. I didn't even do anything festive for the 4th of July. SAD! No parade, no freedom fun run, no carnival, no rodeo, no sparklers, no fireworks. We did go to a BBQ with some of my cousins so that was good. And we did watch fireworks from our porch at home. But it's just not the same. I am definately going to remedy this situation for the 24th.
