Raspberry pickin!

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I headed to McBride's Briar patch in Mapleton to pick some raspberries. It was the cutest little patch! The owners were super nice and Emmy LOVED it! Mr. McBride tied a little bucket around Emmy's waist and showed her how to pick the raspberries, and she got right to work.

Every 2 minutes or so, she would yell out, "Mom! Come look how many I have now!" And then she would want to look in my bucket to see how many I had. Then she would say, "And Zach doesn't have any!"

Zach pretty much just whined until someone fed him a raspberry. What a stinker!

Emily worked very hard and filled up her whole bucket! Between the two of us, we picked about 3.5 lbs of raspberries. They were delicious!

We can't wait to go back next year!
